Eco-design (new 2026)

From the product's design, we work on reducing its environmental footprint.

What is our leverage for offering more sustainable products? The choice of raw materials that are fully compliant with the REACH regulation, have less carbon and are very durable.

Sustainability

REACH-compliant formulations

REACH is an European regulation managed by the European Chemicals Agency. REACH acronym stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of CHemicals. It lists the chemicals having or suspected of having an impact on human health, as well as the ways they can be used.

We guarantee that our building products contain no substances from the candidate list (SVHC), nor those subject to restriction (Annex XVII) or authorisation (Annex XIV).

REACH

More and more bio-based materials

We are steadily increasing the share of bio‑based content across our product ranges to reduce reliance on fossil resources and improve the environmental footprint of our floors. Close to 15% of our turnover is generated from bio-based products, compared to 5% in 2020.

Historically recognised for DLW linoleum, which contains up to 98% natural ingredients, we are now extending this approach to selected vinyl ranges.

This is illustrated by flagship products such as Taraflex™ and Premium, where fossil‑based materials have been substituted with bio‑based ingredients, resulting in more than 80%bio‑based, mineral and recycled content.

Integrating recycled materials into our products

We also integrate recycled raw materials into our products.

Our vinyl ranges contain more than 20% recycled materials in average with some ranges exceeding 50% recycled content.

What do we promise? To guarantee identical quality and technical performance for our floor coverings that are designed with recycled components.

Designing low carbon products

Our engineers use Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software to guide design choices, optimizing raw materials, production processes, and sourcing. These efforts are transparently demonstrated through verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
